New Year, New Impact with Primal Kitchen

In 2024, Primal Kitchen signed on as a major donor of Eat Real with a two-year, $1M commitment. This investment in our core K-12 certification program has already been key to our nationwide expansion and our efforts to reach 1 million students by 2025!

The secret sauce (pun intended) that brings these two organizations together is our shared mission to transform how people eat, beginning with the nation’s children.

Our CEO Nora LaTorre spoke at Primal Kitchen’s 2024 Team Offsite event in Santa Monica, CA to share the impact of the partnership with the entire Primal Kitchen team.

“From the entire Eat Real team, thank you Primal Kitchen! Your generosity will help us reach as many kids as possible across our great nation and help schools become the best restaurant in town so we can create a future that’s healthier.”

From five states to many

As of 2024, Primal Kitchen has helped us reach 187,000 new students across five new states. With their continued support and that of our other donors (hint hint you can be one too!), we’re on track to reach 1,000,000 students in 15-20 states by the end of 2025.

Every new state is an opportunity to reach thousands of new students and transform millions of school meals into the delicious, nutritious, planet-sustaining food every kid deserves. It’s also an opportunity to expand a nationwide community of school food heroes and real food changemakers. Here’s to another year of incredible impact together!
