How to bring Eat Real to your school district
The cafeteria can change the future for our nation’s kids.
We’re on a mission to reach students across the U.S. with delicious and nutritious school food. To do that, we need your help connecting with school districts to create menus that students love and their parents approve!
Is your district a good fit?
We are currently looking to connect with:
- public school districts
- districts with 10,000 or more students enrolled
- districts with self-operating foodservice infrastructure

Make a Connection
We need movers and shakers! If you know any state legislators, school district professionals, childhood nutrition advocates, or philanthropists who might be interested in joining our mission, we’d love an introduction. Email us at parents@eatreal.org.
Write to Your District
Community feedback goes a long way. If you want to see Eat Real in your neck of the woods, reach out to your local school district to let them know! Here is an example message you can send to school board members, foodservice teams, and district administrators:
Dear [name],
Eat Real is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping schools serve more nutritious, delicious and locally sourced meals so more kids eat at school. Their program provides foodservice teams with a clear roadmap, expert guidance, and data-driven support—at no cost to districts.
Schools that partner with them have seen:
✅ Higher student meal participation
✅ Fresher, more nutritious food options
✅ Stronger connections with local food systems
✅ Healthier students ready to learn
With rising concerns about childhood nutrition, I believe this partnership could be a game-changer for our district. I’d love to explore how we can bring Eat Real into [school district name] and help make a lasting impact on our kids’ health.
Would you be open to a quick conversation to discuss this further? I’d be happy to connect you with the Eat Real team or share more details.
Looking forward to your thoughts!
Best,
