2020 has been a challenging year for all – As we head toward the holiday season and end of the year, Eat REAL is taking time to reflect on all that we are grateful for, the amazing work we have accomplished, and our exciting plans for 2021.
Our work wouldn’t be possible without the passionate school food leaders who work tirelessly to continue their programs so that all children have access to real healthful food. We are thankful for the inspiring real food advocates who use their voices to support Eat REAL’s mission, including three Michelin star chef Dominique Crenn, Chef Aaron May, Dr. Mark Hyman, and Ronnie Lott. We were blown away by the passion of our youth movement and the innovations of our interns.
Most of all, we are thankful for YOU, our Eat REAL community, and supporters.
Our impact is possible because of your continued support. Together, our work increases real food access through schools to help tackle hunger, malnutrition, and food insecurity. We help ensure our school food heroes have what they need to continue to deliver meals safely to their communities during COVID-19 and beyond. We have continued to raise awareness about the importance and power of real food for our health. Most importantly, our work is helping children learn to love and value real, healthful food.
Eat REAL has exciting plans to continue and expand our work in 2021. With your help, we will be able to more than double our impact and reach at least 300 additional schools in the coming year. We will increase the health, and nutritional value of 108 million meals served to children across the country.
Join us in creating a healthier planet for our children. A donation of just $10 supports three students receiving healthier meals at school all year long!
We wish you and your family health, happiness, and a restorative holiday this season of giving!
