Business owners are the backbone of the sustainability movement; it is our goal to recognize those in the industry who are going above and beyond to change the system. REAL Certification is a voluntary process in which you open your establishment to be audited for health and sustainability best practice.

Once you submit your application, you will hear back from one of our team members about next steps. We will then schedule a call to discuss your food philosophy and why you think your establishment is a good match for REAL Certified. After this call, you will be connected with a local registered dietitian (RD) who will do an on-site audit in order to verify that your philosophy and your practice are aligned. After being certified, you will receive a REAL Certified embossed plate to display, as well as window decals and a publicity benefits package to help you optimize the reach of your new recognition!

Note: Any establishments that score 50% or higher on our REAL Index are eligible to be certified.
